I recently switched from Surewest High Speed Internet to AT&T High Speed Internet for two reasons.
- It is cheaper. I was paying approximately $51/month for Surewest's 10 meg High Speed Internet. It currently is the fastest one out there. I now pay $35/month for AT&T's 6 meg Internet. It isn't quite as fast, but I hardly notice the difference.
- FREE Wi-Fi. I can now go to Starbucks, among other places, and log on for free.
A little tip for logging on at Starbucks. Since T-Mobile was their provider for Wi-Fi, and I think still is for a little while longer, you don't see a AT&T wireless network when you do a search for available networks to log on to. You have to pick the T-Mobile wireless network and it will bring you to a page on the Internet where in the upper right hand corner, it says "AT&T customers click here. It then brings you to a page where you can log in. It is a great place to meet with clients or just get some work done!!
